Vacation - late May / early June 2023

Japan - Tokyo, Mt Fuji

2 weeks stay in Japan (Tokyo, then 河口湖 to visit the nearby Mt Fuji areas, then back to Tokyo again).

Palace Hotel Tokyo (Japan)

Remarks (May 2023):
Same as previous trips to Japan, I stayed in Palace Hotel Tokyo.

Ubuya Hotel at 河口湖 (Mt Fuji Japan)

Remarks (May 2023):
First time I chose this hotel because it has private onsen 温泉 inside the suite with full view of Mt Fuji.
The hotel restaurants have many private dining rooms with high privacy.

Remarks (June 2023):
After 5 days stay at 河口湖, I went back to Tokyo, stay at Palace Hotel Tokyo as usual.

西湖コウモリ穴 Bat Cave (Mt Fuji, Japan)

Remarks (May 2023):
I visited 西湖コウモリ穴 (bat cave), 富岳風穴 (wind cave) and 鳴沢氷穴 (ice cave).
I like all 3 of them. Ubuya hotel reserved full day private car for me, so very convenient.
The 'bat cave' is most adventurous, certain parts inside the cave is very very low in height, I like the mysterious feel inside.
The 'wind cave' is very easy to walk inside, can see lava stone and ice in various shape.
The 'ice cave' does have many blocks of ice inside! I wore a light jacket and did not feel cold at all. This cave is steeper to walk down with wet surface (from cave water).

Remarks (May 2023):
This tree is called 'husband & wife tree' because the two are so close to each other.

西湖いやしの里根場 (Mt Fuji, Japan)

Sugi Bee honey shop 河口湖 (Mt Fuji, Japan)

Remarks (May 2023):
The sale person told me that these are the top best quality honey.
18900 JPY (135 USD) for 2 bottles of honey, does surprise me a bit. But worth a try.
